• Call Schedule: 24-hr call; 7a-7a

- 5-7 days/month

• Call Volume: 15-20

• Patient Demographics: Primarily Adults

- Peds & Adolescent patients are sent to the Children's hospital nearby

• Ave. No. of Surgical Cases: 10 per day

• Annual ER Volume: 27,000

• Physician in Practice: 1 Gen Surgeon

• Support Staff:

- Experienced & well-trained OR staff, Skilled at Robotic Surgical Procedures and all General Surgery Procedures.

• Duties:

- Primary responsibility is Hospital General Surgery & Level 3 Trauma call coverage, gen surgery consult coverage at hospital.

- May receive referrals/questions from the APP in OP.

• Required Procedures:

- Gen. Surgical Cases (adult & trauma)

- Central Line Insertion, PA Catheter Placement

- Chest Tube Insertion, Vascular Access Devices

- Cholecystectomy & Hernioplasty

- Preferred: Appendectomies, Bowel Resections, Trauma Care for Perforations or Lacerations of Internal Organs.

• No. of ORs: 10

• Trauma Level: III

• EMR: Epic

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
