Position Overview
The IT Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the technology needs of the division by coordinating all IT projects and ensuring company resources are used appropriately as well as supplying superior customer service to end users. Responsibilities
Provides support to the facility in all aspects of Information Technology, including desktop, mobile, network, and wireless troubleshooting.
Coordinates all IT projects and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately.
Provides technical support and/or training for systems and networks.
Acts as a link between end users and higher level support including use of ticketing system.
Purchases and sets up new equipment.
Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems.
Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately.
Works closely with the Corporate IT department to ensure standards are maintained.
Coordinate with outside contractors on projects. Qualifications
1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role
Previous IT experience in a production/manufacturing environment
Ability to relate to and empathize with customers/end users
Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications
Understanding of TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN configuration and VLANS
Experience with Power-Bi or similar application
Experience in support roles preferred
Certifications (Windows, CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ is desired)
Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
