Speciality-Home Health Coding

Experience: Minimum 1yr experience in Home Health Coding. This is non negotiable requirement

Location: Exxa Building, Bridgetown, Pasig City

Salary: 60K-65K

Shift: 11hrs shift for 4 days in a week(Night shift)

Qualifications: Graduate / PG (Science)

Skills:

Claims management and/or customer service experience desired.

Bachelor’s degree desired, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to perform at a high level of productivity and quality.

Capacity to maintain a high level of accuracy.

Excellent written and oral communication skills required to represent Infinx Clients.

Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills to work independently and be resourceful with the ability to multitask.

Requirements:

1–3 years’ experience in Coding.

Minimum 1 year experience in Home Health Coding. This is non negotiable requirement

The client cannot hire candidates from Omega. Candidates should at least complete 6 months after getting relieved from Omega.

Job Description

As a medical coding, you will review patient medical records and assign codes to diagnoses and procedures performed so the facility can bill insurance and other third-party payers (such as Medicare or Medicaid) as well as the patient.

Coding medical charts with through the understanding of medical terminology, AMA guidelines, anatomy, physiology and procedures and assigning the appropriate CPT, ICD- 9 CM & HCPCS and special access codes based on medical documentation. Associate the diagnosis codes to the appropriate procedure codes (CPT) and sequence the codes in such a way as to insure proper reimbursement.

Job Responsibilities

A successful candidate will perform the following activities:

a. Determining the provider and keying the information into the system and accurately apply, differences in coding requirements for various payers, clients and state programmers.

b. Ensure number of charts in batch equals to total received from clients.

c. Maintenance of daily and monthly M.I.S.

d. Quality checking of the coding of the documents done by the associates.

e. Keeping track of the errors and calculating accuracies of the associates.

f. Undertakes denial follow-up and appeals work wherever required.

g. Conducting Specialty training for experienced coders.
