South Bend Medical Foundation (SBMF), a leading anatomic pathology laboratory, is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Account Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, and driving new business and revenue growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to build strong relationships with healthcare providers and contribute to the delivery of critical healthcare services.
Duties
Build and maintain relationships with medical practices, hospitals, and healthcare providers.
Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Communicate laboratory offerings, services, and updates to clients.
Identify opportunities for account growth and selling additional services.
New business development, including the rollout of new service lines.
Deliver in-service presentations to educate and inform clients regarding SBMF services.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of results and reports.
Monitor client satisfaction and gather feedback for service improvement.
Keep detailed records of client interactions and maintain CRM systems.
Represent the laboratory at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in customer service, account management, or healthcare sales.
Knowledge of medical, laboratory services and terminology is a plus.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications.
Willingness to travel locally to meet clients and attend events.Company Description
