The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Business Transformation Services Practice Leader — a visionary technical executive with the rare ability to lead from the whiteboard to production, while building trusted, strategic relationships with enterprise decision-makers.

This is not a theoretical role. This is hands-on, high-stakes, front-line work — guiding global CIOs and CEOs through complex digital and AI transformations. You’ll be a trusted advisor to some of the world’s most ambitious organizations, helping them envision the future, map the path, and then build it with speed and integrity.

You’ll also shape Onshore’s most innovative practice offering — turning opportunity into a scalable, profitable business unit that extends our mission to lift rural Americans through world-class technology work.

What You’ll Do

Strategy & Leadership

Architect and grow a new line of business focused on digital transformation, GenAI, and emerging technologies.

Define the service portfolio, engagement model, and delivery framework.

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior enterprise leaders, helping them align AI and cloud strategies with measurable business outcomes.

Client Engagement

Lead discovery, roadmap development, and solution design for complex transformation initiatives.

Build credibility quickly with Fortune 500 CIOs, CISOs, and business unit heads.

Guide clients through the full lifecycle: from early-stage ideation (e.g., Genesis Ideate) to scaled AI deployment (e.g., Genesis Scale).

Support account and engagement teams in enabling major commercial outcomes — by delivering transformative impact that sells itself.

Technology Execution

Design and prototype AI-native, cloud-scalable business solutions that turn strategy into reality.

Lead development of Onshore's own Generative AI platform, retrieval-augmented systems, and full-stack client solutions built on modern architectures.

Drive real-world performance using best-in-class tools: Python, React, TypeScript, LangChain, vector DBs, Kubernetes, Terraform, and beyond.

Talent Cultivation

Recruit, mentor, and inspire a hybrid team of elite engineers and newly trained rural technologists.

Create repeatable systems for developing talent, instilling best practices, and scaling delivery.

Help Onshore graduates from our training academies become future technical leaders.

About You

A former founder, principal architect, or innovation leader with deep technical fluency.

A trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders who value your strategic insight and delivery acumen.

What You Bring:

10+ years in technology leadership with deep expertise in cloud, AI, and full-stack engineering.

Experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale software and AI systems.

Fluency in AI/ML concepts, GenAI frameworks, agent architecture, prompt engineering, and modern DevSecOps practices.

Strong presence in executive settings, with the ability to simplify complexity and build trust quickly.

Passion for mentoring talent and fostering inclusive, high-performance teams.

A bias toward action, and a love for rolling up your sleeves.

Compensation:

Competitive total compensation package (base salary plus performance bonuses, typically 10–15% of total compensation).

Estimated total compensation range: $170K–$225K annually, commensurate with experience and location.
