Business Analyst Intern (Paid)

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Virginia)

Compensation: $16–$20/hour

Type: Full-time or Part-time

Start Date: Immediate

Reports To: CEO / Executive Leadership

A fast-growing, boutique investment firm is looking for a Business Analyst Intern to join our entrepreneurial team. We build and grow businesses in niche sectors, with a strong focus on strategy, operations, and execution. What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll support senior leadership across a range of functions, with real exposure to the inner workings of both the firm and its portfolio companies:

Conduct research to support strategic initiatives

Assist in analyzing marketing efforts and campaign effectiveness

Contribute to growth projects and business development

Help document and improve internal processes

Support compliance and administrative operations

Provide general support on ad hoc tasks and projects

Work directly with company executives and portfolio leadership

What We’re Looking For

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or similar fields preferred)

Proficient with Excel and comfortable learning new digital tools (CRM, research databases, etc.)

Clear, confident communicator — written and verbal

Highly organized, with strong attention to detail

Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly

A self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment

Bonus: experience with process improvement and project management
