A leader in the Houston Healthcare Staffing Industry since 1988, Pulse Staffing is currently recruiting for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the Baytown Area. At Pulse Staffing, we partner with some of the leading Healthcare Organizations throughout Houston to help you find the right fit whether it be with a Large Medical Practice or a Small Family Practice Clinic. Our current client is seeking a full-time, dedicated and compassionate LVN to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse.

Assist with basic life support measures when necessary.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.

Provide care for patients with medical-surgical needs, including post-operative care.

Support patients undergoing Botulinum toxin treatment by preparing them for procedures and monitoring their recovery.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment plans.

Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.

Qualifications:

Valid Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.

Knowledge of anatomy, medical-surgical practices, and hospital medicine.

Proficiency in medication administration techniques.

Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is a plus.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
