School Age Teachers/Assistants for Summer "Camp" Program in our Childcare Center

Camp Director/Lead Teacher: The candidate must truly enjoy working with kids, be responsible, dedicated and dependable, fun and engaging! This person must be knowledgeable about school-age development and able to plan an engaging Summer "Camp" Program for our kids. Our Summer Camp Program will incorporate educational activities along with an abundance of active outside play, games, and (hopefully) field trips.

Available lesson plans incorporate many different Pennsylvania Learning Standards. Specifically, students will engage in learning activities that meet a variety of PA Standard Areas: Visual Arts, Health, Wellness, and Physical Development, Social Studies Thinking, Scientific Thinking, Social and Emotional Development, Biological Sciences, etc.

The Camp Director can add to these lesson plans or create their own plans that are engaging and incorporate the PA Learning Standards.

The pay is dependent upon education, experience, dedication, and the candidate's ability to fulfill all responsibilities of the position. Offering a competitive wage of $18-$25 per hour, up to approximately $10,000 for the summer.

One to three additional teachers/staff to work alongside the Camp Director to help make our program a success! Hourly wage: $15-$20 an hour, based on education, experience, dedication, and the candidate's ability to fulfill all responsibilities of the position.

In addition, I am looking for other staff interested in full-time, part-time, or substitute work. Pay for these positions is negotiable, based on position, responsibilities, education, experience, etc.

Possession of current lifeguard certification is a plus, but not necessary!
