Green Bay Packaging in Coon Rapids MN is looking for an entry level Pre-Press Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with graphics and tooling while supporting our manufacturing team. This role is primarily administrative, offering a competitive starting pay of $20$24 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits.Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Maintain records for tooling and print plates, including checking in/out and repair status.
Support the manufacturing process.
Coordinate press checks with internal and external participants.
Ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and materials in collaboration with the production team.
Update CAD files with any changes.
Providing coverage for the Graphics/Pre-Press Lead in their absence.
Performing other duties as assigned.Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Strong computer skills in Microsoft office programs and Adobe Creative Suite.
Purchasing skills including the ability to negotiate expectations and deadlines.
Some experience in graphics and pre-press is preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong communication skills, ability to work with internal employees and external vendors, a positive and professional image.
Great attention to details and problem solving.
Familiarity with color theory, proofing techniques and print processes.Compensation & Benefits
