The Short Scoop: My client is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats across cloud, network, and application environments. Location: Deerfield, IL – Preferred. Two other locations: Chicago, IL (West Loop), or Galesburg, IL

Status: Hybrid, 3 to 4 days a week in office (Tues & Thur required), 1 – 2 days work from home

Compensation range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually

What You’ll Be Doing

Respond to SIEM, endpoint, phishing, and cloud alerts.

Lead email phishing campaigns, IR table-tops, and monthly reporting.

Support vulnerability management, patching, and PCI DSS 4.0 compliance.

Maintain and improve runbooks, dashboards, and threat documentation.

Rotate on-call every other week (remote, for critical alerts only).

About You

Be able to do the job as described.

2+ years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity or technical field

Work comfortably across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and multiple tools.

Understand and apply NIST CSF and PCI compliance frameworks.

Bring strong communication skills to cross-team collaboration.

Degree not required, but preferred. Security certs are nice-to-haves.
