ASRT, Inc. provides scientific, information management, management consulting, bioinformatics, and administrative program support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other Federal and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be a full-time employee of ASRT, Inc. and will be assigned to support a Defense Health Agency (DHA) initiative in Falls Church, VA.
SCOPE OF WORK
The Administrative Support Assistant will provide high-level executive support to senior management at the DHA. This role requires excellent communication, calendar management, task tracking, and office coordination skills. The candidate will serve as a key administrative liaison to leadership, ensuring correspondence, travel logistics, meetings, and documentation are handled accurately and efficiently.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide executive administrative support for DHA leadership.
Maintain, track, and evaluate DHA official taskers and correspondence using Government-furnished tools.
Coordinate the drafting, review, and finalization of official documents and correspondence.
Manage leadership appointment calendars and schedule meetings.
Maintain and organize official files in accordance with DHA records management guidance.
Coordinate agendas and logistics for senior management meetings, off-sites, and staff events.
Manage conference room calendars and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Welcome and assist office visitors, manage office supplies, inventory, procurement, and restocking.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
4 years of experience supporting executives in an Executive Assistant or Administrative role.
Associate's or higher; preferred Bachelor's.
Required:
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint.
Proficiency with Defense Travel System (DTS) and understanding of Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
Active Public Trust Clearance.
REQUIREMENT: Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident or have authorization for employment in the United States.
