JOB SUMMARY
Directs all aspects of Hendrick Hospice Care operations, services, and the continuous improvement of the activities of Hendrick Hospice Care. Maintains responsibility for ongoing communication with the Hospice Board and Hospice staff. Collaborates with the healthcare system to meet organizational goals. Designates Alternate Administrator to assume duties of the Director in his/her absence.
Directs all aspects of HMC inpatient palliative care operations, services, and the continuous improvement of the activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree
Master's Degree preferred
Minimum Work Experience
3 years hospice or healthcare related experience
2 years management experience
Required Licenses/Certifications
Appropriate licensure for field of expertise
Current Texas driver's license

Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position
Meet required educational training as Administrator of Hendrick Hospice Care
Be available during agency's operation hours
Understand the physical, psychosocial and spiritual concerns/problems of terminally ill patients and families
Must be knowledgeable of quality assessment and performance improvement activities
Demonstrate interpersonal skills
