Compensation: $120K + Bonus + Relocation + Temporary Housing

Marvin Love and Associates is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Manager of Attractions Maintenance or Director of Ride Maintenance to lead a mission-critical department for a premier destination known for its blend of family-friendly entertainment and immersive guest experiences. This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and performance of a large-scale portfolio of rides and attractions across a world-renowned theme park and resort property.

About the Scope

The property includes over 40 rides and attractions, ranging from high-thrill roller coasters and precision-controlled water rides to family-focused mechanical systems and show-based features. The attraction portfolio spans multiple themed areas and supports year-round operation, requiring proactive seasonal planning, compliance management, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the attractions maintenance department, ensuring all rides and systems are maintained to optimal standards of performance and safety

Lead, coach, and mentor a team of skilled tradespeople and technical supervisors, cultivating a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory bodies and safety standards, including state ride inspection requirements and industry best practices. Manage operational budgets, inventory control, and capital maintenance planning

Support long-term strategic initiatives, including capital project planning, vendor selection, and the vetting of new ride technologies

Perform regular inspections, audits, and performance reviews to uphold standards of quality and reliability across all attractions

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in ride or attractions maintenance in a theme park, resort, or complex mechanical environment

Strong technical background in mechanical or electrical systems, ideally with a degree in Engineering or related technical discipline

Demonstrated ability to lead multi-shift or seasonal teams in a high-volume, guest-facing environment

Knowledge of safety and inspection standards, including ASTM, NAARSO, or AIMS certifications

Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills Commitment to values-based leadership and operational excellence
