Job Title:Research Aide and Interviewer

Department:CCC Comprehensive Cancer Center

Scope of Position:

The Post Baccalaureate will provide essential support to ongoing research projects. This position involves performing a variety of laboratory tasks and contributing to the overall success of research endeavors. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for scientific discovery.

Responsibilities:

Conduct laboratory experiments using established protocols

Prepare reagents, solutions, and media following standardized procedures

Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, data, and observations, both manually and electronically

Collect, organize, and analyze research data under the supervision of senior researchers

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment

Assist with ordering and managing laboratory supplies and inventory

Adhere to all laboratory safety regulations and protocols, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials

Contribute to the general upkeep and organization of the laboratory

Participate in lab meetings and present research findings, as needed

Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.

Selected for ACS Post Baccalaureate Program by CAMELOT.

Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
