The Role: As HCI’s Web & Graphic Designer, you’ll be the creative force behind our digital presence and visual brand. You’ll design sleek, high-converting web pages, impactful digital graphics for TVs and Kiosks, facility signage, large-scale print and promotional materials that speak directly to our diverse fitness community. You’ll work cross-departmentally to ensure everything we put out—online or off—looks sharp, feels inspiring, and aligns with our mission.
Requirements
What You’ll Do:
Design and maintain website pages, landing pages, and user experiences using platforms like WordPress, myFitt App, and onsite TVs (BrightSign) and touchscreen Kiosks
Create dynamic graphics for social media, digital ads, print ads, email campaigns, and facility signage
Collaborate with departments (sales, member services, and sports) to create engaging materials that convert including program booklets, brochures, new member folders, etc.
Collaborate on campaign concepts and translate them into cohesive visual assets
Work with video/photo teams to develop branded overlays, thumbnails, and supporting graphics
Ensure visual consistency across all digital and physical touchpoints
Optimize designs for mobile, accessibility, and performance
Support updates and enhancements to the website, including content, layout, and SEO best practices
Stay up to date with fitness industry trends, design innovations, and web standards
What You Bring:
2–4 years of experience in web and graphic design, preferably in fitness, lifestyle, or wellness sectors (*applications without portfolios will not be considered)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc)
Experience with web platforms—WordPress (basic HTML/CSS)
Experience creating large-scale print including banners and billboards
Strong eye for typography, layout, color, and brand storytelling
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Creative thinker with a proactive, team-first attitude
Passion for health, wellness, fitness, or athletics is a big plus
Bonus Points If You Have:
Photography and/or video editing experience
Social Media prowess
Experience designing for fitness studios, sports teams, or wellness programs
Familiarity with Google Analytics or SEO basics
Motion graphics or animation skills
