Pay Rate: $27.50 per hour\n\nJOB SUMMARY\nResponsible for delivery and pickup of containers to and/or from customer locations; provide an effective and incident free delivery or pickup of a container while maintaining excellent rapport with the customer.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n\tDrive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites in a safe manner by following all safety rules\n\n\n\n\tPerform and log daily pre and post trip inspections of commercial vehicle and lift\n\n\n\n\tAccept add-on deliveries as required to meet business needs\n\n\n\n\tUse company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation\n\n\n\n\tOperate a forklift and/or an overhead crane\n\n\n\n\tClean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable for delivery to customer\n\n\n\n\tCoordinate rental paperwork and payment with the customer\n\n\n\n\tCommunicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager on customer questions and/or issues; Prepare driver notes as needed\n\n\n\n\tPerform repairs of containers and lifts in the field and at the storage center\n\n\n\n\tProvide backup for storage center functions when needed\n\n\n\n\tMaintain cleanliness of truck cab (keep free from debris inside and outside)\n\n\n\n\tMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned\n\n\nMANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES\n\n\n\tTypically reports to Management.

Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Market Manager, Territory Manager\n\n\n\n\tJob is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management)\n Pay Range: 27.50-27.50 per_hour, General Benefits: Medical, Dental and vision insurance plans available.

Paid Time Off plan and Safety bonuses are available for driver positions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements\n\n\n\tHigh School diploma or equivalent\n\n\n\n\tValid CDL Class B License Required without air brake restriction\n\n\n\n\tMust maintain a current/valid driver license\n\n\n\n\tMust meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards\n\n\n\n\tMust be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)\n\n\n\n\tPossess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain a minimum of a 1 year certification (DOT requirement)\n\n\n\n\tHands on experience with electronic equipment and software preferred\n\n\n\n\tPossess math skills sufficient to perform required duties\n\n\n\n\tOr an equivalent combination of education, training or experience\n\n\n\n\tAbility to attend required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program\n\n\n \n\nEqual Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer\nPODS Enterprises, LLC is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer.
