COMPENSATION:

$16/HR

PART-TIME SCHEDULE:

Monday, Thursday, & either Friday or Saturday, from approximately 6:30AM to 3:30PM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains the highest standards to ensure quality and cleanliness of common areas and exterior perimeter area daily

Keep elevators, elevator lobbies, and common areas clean and maintained

Clean and maintain community room, yoga studio, kitchen and fitness center

Keep all community room, yoga studio, and bathroom areas clean and maintained including: emptying and sanitizing waste receptacles, filling soap dispensers, keeping floors clean, drying and sanitizing bathroom surfaces, ensuring paper products are neatly and properly stocked

Clean and sanitize restrooms including pool deck restrooms

Clean and maintain community room and yoga studio flooring

Responsible for emergency clean up in common areas

Dusting and cleaning of walls, ceilings, pictures, windows, doors and furniture

Maintains inventory levels of supplies including, but not limited to, toiletries, cleaning supplies, paper supplies, etc.

Clean and dust property community room fixtures, baseboards, lamps, lampshades, etc.

Maintain common areas including but not limited to power washing walkways, removing cobwebs and bird nests, cleaning community room furniture, emptying and cleaning ash trays, picking up garbage and disposing at appropriate disposal site

Safely operate basic equipment used in duties such as vacuum cleaner

Preparing dumpsters and enclosures for trash pickup days including locking and unlocking trash chutes

Remove graffiti and report common areas damaged in group chat created by management

Keep all equipment properly maintained, clean, and free of marks

Inventory, store and maintain equipment and carts

Submit weekly task list and daily work orders to direct supervisor

Report emergencies and maintenance needs immediately to supervisor

Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Possession of a valid state driver’s license

At least one year of experience in maintenance/porter positions.

Related experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.

Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests.

Fluency in English is required while being Bilingual in Spanish is helpful.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Maintenance/Porter is regularly required to talk or hear. The Team Member is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The Team Member is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least fifty (50) pounds, and varied instances of standing / walking during the shift.
