Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Salary: $95,000 $120,000 + Bonus
About the Role
Were looking for a strategic, people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function and shape a culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent. Reporting directly to the CEO, youll oversee day-to-day HR operations, guide the departments growth, and serve as a key member of the leadership teamhelping align our people strategy with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
Act as a strategic partner to the executive team, contributing to company development and long-term planning
Lead and mentor the HR team, providing direction, support, and growth opportunities
Develop and implement HR strategies that promote a high-performance, employee-centric culture
Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEI&B) in workforce planning and culture-building
Assess current and future talent needs and evaluate organizational structure and resources
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all HR functions and policies
Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, including:
Talent acquisition and workforce planning
Onboarding and training
Performance management and employee relations
Compensation and benefits administration
Policy development and enforcement
Safety, workers compensation, and risk management
Stay informed of industry trends, legal updates, and HR best practices to guide decision-making
Foster strong internal partnerships and external community relationships
Take on additional responsibilities and strategic initiatives as assigned by the CEO
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Masters degree preferred)
PHR or SHRM certification required; SHRM-SCP and OSHA General Industry training strongly preferred
5+ years of recruiting and talent acquisition experience
Proven HR leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong communication, mentorship, and team development skills
Experience leading and building HR systems, policies, and scalable processes
Deep knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Strategic mindset with ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence at all levels
Track record of designing and executing talent strategies to improve organizational performance
Analytical ability to identify trends, forecast talent needs, and adjust strategies accordingly
