Shift Details:
Second Shift: Monday Thursday, 2:30 PM 12:30 AM (+$1.00 shift differential)
What Youll Do:
Produce and/or adhere plate backing as needed, mount and proof plates, clean and seal plates, record billing of time and materials on each job as required.
Oversees the maintenance activities on all mounting equipment and fills out maintenance requests as needed.
Prepare and inspect mounted plates prior to printing.
Quality standards and customer requirements.
Accountable for daily inventory of all tools and supplies for assigned equipment.
Responsible for modeling and enforcing the safe operation of all equipment and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
Responsible for supporting and backing-up other positions as needed.
Assists Manufacturing Supervisors in documenting and improving procedures and workflow processes by offering ideas and suggestions.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team.
Communicate regularly with management to ensure customer needs are being met.
Accurately file plates for future use.
Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software where required.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors
Perform other duties as assigned.
What Were Looking For:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of mounting operation and procedures;
Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience in production environment
Troubleshooting and maintenance of production equipment
Able to read and follow directions
Able to work independently with minimal direction
Must be accurate and precise
Able to bend and lift at least 40 pounds repeatedly during the shift with or without reasonable accommodation
Able to stand for entire shift with or without reasonable accommodation
Basic math skills.
Able to work with others in accomplishing tasks or goals in a team atmosphere.
Must be adaptable for cross-training into other production areas as needed.
Ability to adapt quickly to new and varied job tasks in a fast paced environment.
Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
