A fast-growing B2B software company is in need of a VP of Data and Analytics.

As the VP of Data and Analytics, you'll shape the future of our organization's corporate data foundation, ensuring that the data infrastructure services not only meet today's needs but anticipate and address tomorrow's challenges.

Candidates who reside on the West Coast, with the ability to travel to Los Angeles, will get priority consideration.

Responsibilities:

Ensure robust data governance and quality through the analytics ecosystem

Maintain the integrity and accessibility of the data infrastructure

Outline the strategic vision for corporate data analytics

Construct an enterprise data ecosystem that balances innovation with compliance

Implement AI-powered solutions to enhance data insights, automate processes, and improve decision-making

Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources across initiatives

Nurture relationships across the company to anticipate future data needs and position analytics as a competitive advantage

Ensure data security, compliance, and privacy standards are maintained across all assets

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a similar field of study

MBA or PHD preferred in Data Science

7+ years of experience in enterprise data management, analytics, and/or BI

4+ years leading cross-functional teams with demonstrated success scaling data

Demonstrated expertise with enterprise solutions using modern data technologies and BI/analytics platforms

Advanced SQL experience required

Ideally experience with notable BI tools like Tableau, Lookr, Thoughtspot

Experience with data warehouse tools like Snowflake or BigQuery

Experience with building and training AI Models highly preferred.

Proven track record of managing departmental budgets and optimizing technology investments

Background developing and implementing enterprise-wide data governance

Demonstrated expertise in leading organizational change management in data-centric transformations
