Responsibilities:
Oversee accounting for M&A activity, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close
Lead the year-end audit process
Work with other members of the team to ensure financial reporting is automated
Ensure cash is managed appropriately with the proper internal controls in place
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Reconcile and analyze GL accounts and bank statements
Oversee monthly close process, schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations
Support team with key strategic initiatives
Lead a broad range of ad-hoc projects focused on improving reporting quality
Assist with the integration of acquisitions into the accounting and financial systems
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related major
5+ years of accounting experience
2+ years of public accounting is a huge plus
Proven track record of working in a service-based industry (construction, engineering services, design services, etc.)
CPA license preferred
Experience with Sage Intacct
Strong accounting experience and demonstrated ability to lead / drive processes
