Essential Job Functions
Receive, review, and process import documentation for an assigned base of accounts
Obtain and process Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate, arranging delivery, and invoicing the import accounts to their SOP
Monitor transactions and notify supervisory personnel of any problem or irregularities
Provide excellent and timely client service by informing the client of the status of their shipment(s)
Coordinate the release of goods from the carrier, customs or other governmental agency examinations that may be required
Other duties as assigned

Strong oral and written communication skills.
Must have excellent client service skills, responding promptly and professionally to client needs and requests for service and assistance.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. currency, weight, volume and distance measurements
Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence.
Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills
Strong computer skills
Physical Requirements
Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
Sitting for extended periods of time
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 4 years related experience.
Minimum 3 years industry experience preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
Professional certification may be required in some areas.
