Sharonview is looking for a Branch Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is optimistic, and is exceptional at customer service to join our team.
Essential Responsibilities:
Coach, lead, and develop the branch team for success. Create individual development plans for all staff to ensure team engagement and preparation for future growth. Hold regular one-on-one meetings with staff. Foster a working atmosphere within the branch that is conducive to peak performance, employee satisfaction, and high levels of member satisfaction while providing exceptional member experience.
Develop and promote a consultative culture to build high-performing teams that engage with members in person and via outbound sales conversations, proactively driving growth within the credit union sales culture.
Analyze financial data to assess branch performance, identify areas for improvement, develop strategies to increase profitability, monitor expenses, and implement changes
Coordinate sales activities within the branch to achieve goals and objectives, including but not limited to deposit production, new member growth, consumer lending, business services, and referrals.
Responsible for Member/Market development, including Micro-Market membership development and attending community events.
Know the businesses in their market, assist in determining potential Select Employee Groups (SEGs), and work with the Membership Engagement team to service and retain existing SEGs.
Assess and implement department procedures and processes to ensure compliance with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Carry out leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Interview, onboard, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and coach employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) preferred.
Leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficient with various computer software applications, including MS Word and MS Outlook, and ability to learn in-house application software.
Must have an excellent member service orientation - actively looking for ways to help people solve problems or meet financial objectives.
Possess practical interpersonal and communication skills in a variety of business circumstances.
Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
Maintain and promote a positive work environment through effective communication, feedback, collaborative discussions, and team communications.
Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively in written correspondence.

Must be able to obtain an NMLS license in the first 45 days.
Ability to exercise discretion while managing confidential information.
Maintain knowledge of and comply with all BSA-related regulations and internal policies and procedures.
Physical Demands
Sedentary work primarily involves sitting/standing and using a computer for prolonged periods.
Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Work requires the ability to speak and hear consistently.
Communicate to exchange information via voice, email, teams, etc.
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. Travel to corporate office and other branches
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Requires the ability to work before and after regular scheduled working hours.
Requires ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed
