Install, modify and make repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provide technical support and advice to system users. Maintain all voice systems.
Principal Responsibilities
Identify and procure hardware and software needs as approved for purchase.
Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers.
Load appropriate software packages such as operations systems, networking components and office applications.
Assists in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users requirements.
Provides telephone, in-person and on line support to end users.
Refers major problems to corporate contact for guidance.
Connects users to networks and provides initial training in use.
Administers e-mail and anti-virus systems
Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.
Qualifications
An AS degree in a computer related field combined with 5 years of applicable work history or any combination of education, work history or demonstration of capability.
