Summary
We are currently representing a growing general contractor actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up commercial construction projects ranging from $500K to $25M+. This role is ideal for a driven construction professional with a solid background in full-cycle project management, from preconstruction through closeout. Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction to final turnover
Lead subcontractor and supplier procurement, including scope development and contract negotiation
Maintain budgets, track job costs, and report regularly on project financials
Create and manage project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are met
Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
Oversee jobsite safety, quality control, and schedule adherence
Conduct weekly project meetings and ensure accountability across teams
Manage project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Coordinate punch list completion, closeout documentation, and owner handoff
Collaborate closely with field operations and internal departments to drive project success
Travel to job sites 2–3 times per week to ensure execution and progress
Qualifications
Required Experience:
2+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects (3+ preferred)
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
Skilled in estimating, scheduling, contract writing, and subcontractor coordination
Strong communication, organization, and leadership capabilities
Ability to manage both field and office operations
Willingness and ability to travel regularly for jobsite supervision
Preferred Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Experience with ground-up builds in commercial sectors such as retail, office, or light industrial
