Currently, AOC is in search of an Open Mold, Technical Service Associate for its Valparaiso, Indiana location. This role involves providing customer support to composite clients served by AOC. The Technical Service Associate will collaborate with AOC’s Sales, Research & Development, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing teams to enhance product performance for end-users.

The responsibilities associated with this position encompass:

- Optimizing existing product formulations to align with customer specifications

- Participating in customer field trials and assisting with product scale-up initiatives

- Resolving product or process challenges through laboratory work and customer engagements

- Documenting all activities through both written and verbal communication with various internal and external stakeholders

- Conducting laboratory tests to innovate new products

The Technical Service Associate will report directly to the Technical Service Manager.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field. While 0-2 years of experience in the polyester resin and composite industry is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also expected.
