About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Unlicensed Therapist to join our team at our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). As an Unlicensed Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy to clients with mental health and substance use disorders. You will work closely with licensed clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client. Your primary goal will be to help clients achieve their treatment goals and improve their overall quality of life.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
Experience working in a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC)
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Experience with evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing
Experience working with diverse populations
Experience working with clients with mental health and/or substance use disorders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with clients
Collaborate with licensed clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Participate in case conferences and team meetings
Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice
Skills:
As an Unlicensed Therapist, you will use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and help them feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings. You will also use your organizational and time management skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and meet deadlines for documentation. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in collaborating with licensed clinicians and other members of the treatment team. Additionally, your knowledge of evidence-based practices and experience working with diverse populations will allow you to provide high-quality care to clients with a wide range of needs.
