About the Role
We are looking for a team-oriented professional who is passionate about learning and growing in the field of industrial control systems. As a Controls Engineer at Rhino Tool House, you will play a key role in designing, programming, and commissioning industrial control systems across a diverse range of industries. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement new technologies while contributing to innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, troubleshoot, and optimize electrical control circuits.
Develop and test software for PLC, HMI, and other control systems.
Lead system commissioning at customer sites, ensuring seamless installation and functionality.
Collaborate closely with customers to ensure systems meet all technical requirements and specifications.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and continued support.
Provide service and technical support to customers as needed.
Update and maintain project documentation, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and related industrial control systems.
Proficient in AutoCAD, EPlan, or other electrical design software.
Strong understanding of NEC/ANSI/UL electrical standards.
Knowledge of industrial safety circuit design.
Motivated self-starter with a keen desire to learn and grow in a technical role.
2+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
