Broadcast Production Intern

The Lake Erie Crushers are a professional baseball team that are a member of the Frontier League, a “Partner League” of Major League Baseball.

The Crushers established in 2009 are based in Avon, Ohio and their home stadium is Lake Erie Crushers Stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 5,000. Including 11 suites, berm seating, picnic and patio areas for group outings. The stadium has new artificial turf, concession stands, team shop, state of the art sound system and new video board. Avon is 18 miles west of Cleveland Ohio and part of the Cleveland metropolitan area.

THE ROLE

The Crushers have an opening for a Broadcast Production Intern. The right individual will be an integral part of the team. The right candidate will be looking to develop their production skills in a live sports production environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with the tv production of Lake Erie Crushers games.

Participate in pregame production meetings.

Relay information between the technical director and in stadium crew.

Assist in uploading video content for video broadcast.

Assist in show calling duties and live production execution.

Work with broadcasters in developing the show and content.

Work with Corporate Sales department in developing and implementing content.

Additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Strong team player and self-starter.

Strong organizational skills

Ability to adapt on the fly during a live sporting event.

Excellent leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.

Strong project management, planning skills.

Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays as required.

Driven to succeed and overcome obstacles through hard work and determination.
