GROUNDS & LIGHT MAINTENANCE Gorman & Company is looking for a part time Grounds & Light Maintenance Technician who is committed to providing first class groundskeeping and light maintenance services as part of a collaborative maintenance team in the Little Rock area.
Groundskeeping and Light Maintenance is one of the most important jobs for maintaining community housing properties in a safe, attractive, and comfortable condition for our residents.

A day in the life of a Grounds and Light Maintenance Technician: * Work with our maintenance team to perform grounds maintenance such as lawn services, maintaining shrubs and gardens, spraying insecticides and clean-up.
* Outdoor building maintenance - painting, light bulbs, install and/or maintain fences.
* Assist outside contractors and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
* Assist in supplies inventory control and upkeep of all ground's equipment.
* Complete corrective maintenance by completing service requests.
* Assist with unit preparation to include painting, cleaning, repairing and/or replacing appliances, plumbing, and/or electrical fixtures.
* Emergency maintenance/On-Call when needed.
What do I need to qualify to be a Groundskeeper and Light Maintenance Technician?
* Ability to work 25 hours per week.
* Must have your own vehicle and a valid driver's license.
* Previous grounds keeping / landscaping / maintenance experience required.
* Excellent mechanical aptitude with ability to operate lawn equipment.
* Must be able to read work orders / service requests.
* Good safety habits.
* Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
