The Sr Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for the development, deployment, and alignment of analytic solutions. Sr Revenue Cycle Analysts are visualization and reporting experts, capable of transforming data, discovering data insights, and using those insights to present a story. These associates have a deep understanding of data and know when something does not make sense, and they know enough about statistics to know how to appropriately use the insights. Sr Revenue Cycle Analysts may engage in and lead projects across multiple departments. Due to the expertise and experience required for this role, they routinely work with other team members to provide technical expertise, and mentorship.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, healthcare or computer science related field.
In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Minimum of five (5) years of data or financial or business analysis experience required.
Prior experience in revenue management, patient financial services and/or health information systems preferred.
Expertise in data extraction and database queries; SQL or other reporting language.
Expertise in data visualization; Microsoft Power BI or other visualization programs.
Experience with Microsoft Azure Databricks preferred.
Previous experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred.
This position will allow flexibility to work remotely after the initial training period.
