PeopleSoft HCM BSA
Introduction:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented PeopleSoft HCM Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with expertise in Data Conversion and Payroll (PAY) processes. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting HR and payroll system transformation projects by ensuring the successful conversion of data from legacy systems into PeopleSoft HCM.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate data conversion efforts for PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll modules.
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to gather, document, and validate business requirements related to data conversion.
Analyze, cleanse, map, and validate HR and payroll data from legacy systems for successful migration to PeopleSoft HCM.
Work closely with technical teams to design and implement data conversion strategies and processes.
Conduct functional and integration testing for converted data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, identify root causes, and provide remediation plans.
Develop comprehensive documentation including conversion rules, mapping documents, test cases, and user guides.
Provide subject matter expertise on PeopleSoft HCM modules, particularly Core HR and Payroll.
Assist in post-conversion support, data reconciliation, and issue resolution.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a BSA working with PeopleSoft HCM, with a strong focus on data conversion and payroll modules.
Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft data structures and tools such as PS Query, SQR, SQL, Excel, and data load utilities (e.g., CI-based, App Engine).
Solid understanding of HR and payroll business processes and regulations.
Proven ability to manage complex data migration projects and large data sets.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with PeopleSoft version 9.2 or higher.
Prior involvement in a full life-cycle PeopleSoft implementation or upgrade.
Knowledge of data privacy laws and best practices in handling sensitive employee data.
Experience with integrations between PeopleSoft and third-party HR/payroll systems.
