Job Summary:
Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations for all space requirement issues to include the analysis of resources and engineering requirements for all seating, space, and equipment within the NAWCAD Competency. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.
Education and Experience:
BA/BS degree in a Business Discipline (6 years’ additional work experience or an associate’s degree plus 4 years’ additional work experience, related to the applicable labor category’s required experience, may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.)
3-10 years of experience
Essential Duties:
Provide experienced program support to the Government by performing the following tasks:
Provide support for any and all space requirement issues to include the analysis of resources and engineering requirements for all seating, space, and equipment within the NAWCAD Competency
Initiate and process any and all space related requirements in accordance with the DOD, NAVAIR and NAWCAD policies
Provide assistance with the development, coordination and execution of NAVAIR Space Requests, Basic Facilities Requirements (BFR), Gap Analysis spread sheets, NAVAIR Space Board (NSB) Presentations, and coordinate the initial Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Work Requests
Provide technical support to the Facility Manager in all outfitting actions to include furniture procurements, technical drawings, building schematics, NMCI infrastructure, telecommunications & video communications acquisitions, and scheduling of contract move support
Support the NAWCAD competency at move strategy meetings, project status meetings, and interagency coordination meetings
Maintain and submit to the Facility Manager a real-time running progress report for all space related projects in work to include the project scope and milestones, Gap Analysis database and the oversight of automated management tools
Act as the primary emergency management representative and liaison with installation Emergency Management (EM) Personnel
Support management to update and document NAWCAD security tasks and establish standard operating procedures (SOP) for safety and security of all NAWCAD 4.0 facilities
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
Knowledge of theory, principles, and practices of civil, mechanical, architectural and electrical engineering in order to identify and define the nature and scope of Facility Engineering problems.
Knowledge and experience with military construction, OPNAVINST 11010.20H, and the policies & procedures of Public Works is required.
Ability to perform all functional duties independently.
