Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications according to physicians’ orders and state regulations.

Monitor residents’ responses to medications and report any changes or concerns.

Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.

Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care activities.

Participate in care planning and collaborate with the team to develop individualized care plans.

Promote a safe and dignified environment for all residents.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Training: Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program.

Certification: Current Medication Aide MA-C certification in Ohio.

Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Character: Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and residents.
