Position Summary
Accounting Payable Specialists are responsible for maintaining all aspects of the company’s payable responsibilities. This role works directly with the Business Operations Manager and accounting team to ensure the Company’s financial success. Primary responsibilities include accounts payable regarding vendor payments and manage employee expenses, reconciliations, retrieving necessary documents for record and reconciling documentation in QuickBooks Online and the Company files to ensure record consistency, audits, reporting, and other finance-related duties relating to both Company’s, EquipPro Distributors and PA-PO Industrial Systems.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Applying strong accounting skills, including maintaining records according to generally accepted accounting principles including the recordation of general journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation of bank statements and other money asset accounts.
Review, preparation and validation of A/P report for weekly check run.
Processing of approved payments to vendors.
Performing routine audits of accounts to ensure proper accounting and coding classifications, which may include deep audits of client accounts, liabilities, billables, client invoicing, and purchase and change orders to ensure correctness.
Participating in activities needed to support the business operations team, which may include purchasing and client invoicing.
Preparing various reporting as requested by business operations team.
Checking and responding to client, vendor and company emails daily.
Answering calls or making calls to vendors or clients to resolve or research concerns, as needed.
Performing other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
A minimum of three years of experience in accounting and QuickBooks Online is required.
Accuracy and attention to detail is absolutely required, as well as a track record of reliability, confidentiality, and conscientious work habits
Ability to work independently with little supervision or openly with a team.
Ability to organize and prioritize effectively.
Ability to interpret data and make effective decisions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook

We are an office within an industrial shop. Movement between the two areas may be necessary. Tripping hazards may exist, and welding arcs may be active. Safety standards and precautions are expected to be demonstrated by everyone.
