Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a Software Architect to join their team in the Jasper, IN area. This successful resource will be responsible for design work but the Architect will do some development as well. They will write proof of concepts and train the developers. The resource will help the team modernize technologies and will have experience with frameworks and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define technical requirements and translate into architectural solutions

Build functional prototypes for validation

Lead development team on best practices and technology

Ensure adherence to design and development standards

Implement solutions utilizing Azure services and .Net technologies

Design and manage cloud solutions that integrate Azure with on-prem systems

Work with DevOps to embed architectural solutions into CI/CD pipelines

Research and stay up to date on emerging technologies and trends

Maintain clear documentation including design diagrams, development standards, and best practices

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong experience with Azure and .Net technologies

Experience in design and implementation of secure architecture

Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and virtual networking

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, Containerization, and CI/CD pipelines

Experience with event driven applications

Familiarity with performance tuning of cloud applications

Knowledge of structured logging, observability and monitoring tools

Experience with Azure networking including virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups

TERMS:
