Develop and implement detailed testing plans focusing on mechanical, thermal, and chemical performance, specifically but not exclusively related to Bayou Holdco Products, such as Pipeline Coatings/Wet Thermal Insulation products.
Conduct rigorous analyses to confirm product conformity to industry standards and customer specifications.
Document testing processes and outcomes clearly, providing insightful recommendations and improvements.
Collaborate closely with product and process specialists to optimize product design and manufacturing.
Work jointly with QA/QC teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality management standards.
Continuously refine testing methods to enhance reliability, accuracy, and efficiency.
Identify and contribute to process improvements in validation protocols, End-User specifications, industry/technical standards, and industry best practices.
Keep current with industry trends, technological advancements, and evolving regulations related to pipeline coatings.
Actively participate in internal/external audits, offering necessary documentation and support.
Perform root cause analyses and support corrective action processes to address product performance issues.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical, Chemical, Corrosion Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in product validation within the oil and gas sector; experience with pipeline coatings is highly preferred.
Hands-on proficiency with laboratory equipment for material characterization and testing.
Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret data and apply findings effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to clearly present technical details.
Demonstrated capability to work in cross-functional teams, managing multiple concurrent projects.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Advanced degree in a related field.
· Experience with statistical analysis methodologies and interpretation
· Knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001 and related quality management systems.
· Previous experience interacting directly with customers, offering technical consultations, and providing support.
