Manufacturing Engineer

Principal Responsibilities:

Responsible for the designing and checking of test equipment, tooling or structures for the testing of high explosive components; approves and reviews preliminary engineering drawings of mechanical and electronic tools and circuits; and directs the testing and verification of circuitry of electric and electronic equipment used to accept manufacture products. - 30%

Communicate project needs, schedules and activities to include, but not limited to, Project Management, Proposal Writing and Budgeting. - 20%

Primary point of contact for all suppliers and managing their activities in compliance to specifications. - 10%

Able to take a project from inception to production, on-time to budget. - 20%

Lean manufacturing techniques and methods, to include: Time and Motion Studies, Design of Experiments, Continuous Improvement & Flow, Total Productive Maintenance, and Value Stream Mapping. - 10%

Perform other duties as assigned. 10%

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field Preferred or ME or Mechatronics Preferred

Minimum Work Experience:

7+ Years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
