Full time - Senior AWS Database Engineer

We're seeking someone strong with database automation to work within PostgresSQL/Aurora, as well as distributed databases such as Cockroach/Yugabyte

Role will be a mentor to junior engineers, will entail customer facing documentation needs, and also cover INFRASTRUCTURE

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $70 - $80 / hr. w2

Responsibilities

Deploy databases in AWS (EC2/S3/DynamoDB/Aurora)

Work with Terraform, Kubernetes, and DevOps best practices

Create new python scripts

Work on site with our team in Texas, no travel anticipated, we are also open to candidates willing to work on site in New Hampshire

Comfortable working on an hourly basis (140-160k) full time

Experience Requirements

10+ years of progressive IT experience

Needed skills include 5+ years of database AUTOMATION engineering experience within a major cloud environment (preferrably AWS/Azure)

Education Requirements

Bachelors Degree required (preferred: Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience)
