Hanwha Vision America (HVA) is seeking a Tariff and Regulatory Analyst to maintain and update tariff database, review existing pricing structure and prepare submission of traffic filing.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze existing tariffs and pricing structures to identify cost-saving opportunities or compliance risks.
Track regulatory updates, rulings, and policy changes that could affect tariffs or rate structures.
Assist with the preparation and submission of tariff filings to relevant regulatory bodies.
Work closely with teams such as legal, finance, operations, and compliance to support accurate interpretation and application of tariffs.
Help maintain and update tariff databases, documentation, and classification records.
Provide insights and guidance to internal teams, using tariff data.
Create summary reports and basic analyses on tariff trends and their potential business impact.
Support various tariff-related projects as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in international trade or related tariffs
5 to 10 years of experience in tariff, custom clearance, or related import & export
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Experience using SAP preferred
Strong problem solving and communication skills required
Good conceptual and analytical competences, team player, goal-oriented, possessing a desire to work for a fast-paced, results-based company
Can help implementing standard operating procedure (SOP)
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Fluency in English and Korean (Required)
Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory
