Application Engineer (Building Automation)

My clients are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Engineer to join their team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automation systems and be proficient in drawing and submittals. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple projects and ensure the successful implementation of control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement building automation systems.

Create detailed drawings and submittals for control systems.

Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.

Perform system integration and troubleshooting.

Provide technical support and training to clients and team members.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation systems.

Proficiency in drawing and submittals.

Strong knowledge of control systems, HVAC, and electrical systems.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid driver's license.
