About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and overseeing all aspects of financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This role involves leading a team of accounting professionals, developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, and providing financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).

Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.

Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to management.

Accounting Operations:

Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation and management of the company budget.

Monitor actual performance against budget and identify variances.

Develop and implement forecasting models.

Team Leadership:

Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.

Set performance goals and provide regular feedback.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with accounting principles (GAAP), tax regulations, and internal controls.

Work with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial audits.

Analysis and Problem-Solving:

Perform financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.

Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and errors.

Develop and implement solutions to improve accounting processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA certification or progress towards obtaining CPA.

Experience with ERP systems.

Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
