Job Summary:

The client is seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS-based infrastructure to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating and optimizing our cloud operations, enhancing system reliability, and enabling faster software delivery through DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using best practices for scalability, security, and reliability.

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployments (using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline).

Manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog).

Work with developers to containerize applications using Docker, orchestrated with Kubernetes or Amazon ECS/EKS.

Ensure security, compliance, and backup strategies across AWS services.

Implement automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.

Participate in on-call rotations and incident response processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineer.

Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, ECS/EKS.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.).

Proficiency in IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.

Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of networking, security, and cloud cost optimization.

Good problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Solutions Architect, etc.).

Exposure to event-driven architectures, serverless (Lambda), or DevSecOps practices.

Experience with database technologies like Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or RDS.

Knowledge of observability stacks (ELK, EFK, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry).
