An international supplier of industrial machinery is currently searching for a motivated Payroll Administrator to support their office to the north of the Delaware, OH area. The ideal candidate has previous Human Resources experience in an industrial environment, and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
This is a full-time, direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package and potential for career advancement.
Payroll Administrator Responsibilities Include:
Prepare and process payroll for company personnel, issue accurate and timely paychecks, and set up direct deposit for new hires
Collect and audit employee timesheets for hours worked and accuracy
Handle payroll deductions such as garnishments, benefits withholding, etc.
Maintain current information about IRS regulations, and process state and federal tax payments for each payroll period
Manage ADP system transactions
Support benefits specialists with planning and performing 401K audits
Other duties as assigned
Payroll Administrator Qualifications Include:
Minimum Associate’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent work experience
At least 3 years of experience with payroll administration and general HR duties, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Experience with ADP and / or similar payroll software is preferred
Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to communicate and collaborate well with other departments and colleagues in a multicultural environment
While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
