Application Development Manager
The TemPositions Group of Companies has an exceptional opportunity available for an Application Development Manager within the Information Technology (IT) Division. We are seeking a dedicated individual who has experience with .Net and SQL Server development experience to lead a team of programmers responsible for enhancing our internal proprietary Enterprise Staffing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, tools, and platforms and must understand systems engineering principles derived from experience. Job Responsibilities:
· Build a solid data-driven machine learning and artificial intelligence-based IT platform for the organization, develop recruiting metrics and analytics that provide insights, drive decision-making, and measure team productivity and program ROI
· Lead and develop enterprise-level and mobility-enabled solutions that integrate across applications, systems, and platforms while driving high performance against our aggressive organizational growth plans.
· Analyze and translate business, information, and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions that can achieve the desired business objectives.
· Define, recommend, and implement solutions based on best practices, architecture principles, and rational sense
· Set data architecture principles and create data models that enable the implementation of intended business architecture.
· Actively lead and participate in problem identification and solutions, learn modern technologies, and help shape new offerings for the business
· Work with the teams to design migration plans for existing legacy applications and correctly design new systems. Participate in their planning and design processes.
· Lead the creation of project deliverables, from process to system design elements.
· Remain current with the latest technologies and determine what modern technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.
· Manage all stages of the lifecycle development for new projects and provide technical support to onsite and offshore project team members.
· Contribute to TemPositions' intellectual property and assets through research and documentation of leading IT best practices and software development methodologies.
Qualifications:
· BA/BS in Technology area (i.e. Computer Science) or related field or equivalent work-related experience, master’s degree preferred.
· 7+ years’ experience working experience with ASP.NET, C# and ASP.NET MVC.
· 7+ years’ experience working experience with client-side development HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
· 7+ years’ experience working with Transact SQL Development experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008+ (Advanced querying, Triggers, Functions, stored procedures, Profiler, indexes optimization, etc.).
· Experience using third party .Net web controls, such as Telerik.
· Experience with reporting services Microsoft SSRS and Crystal Reports.
· Experience with proficiency in designing, implementation of Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) using DevOps tools/technologies like Assembla/Jira, SVN, Jenkins and Selenium.
· Experience with dev-ops tools and culture.
· Experience developing, testing and deploying APIs.
· Deliver high quality native mobile software for both Android and IOS, through the mobile developers scrum team.
· Knowledge building applications based on Microservices Architecture.
· Knowledge of technologies, techniques, and life cycle employed in the AI/ML/Data Science domains. Use expertise as the basis for leading initiatives.
· Exposure to Chatbot using Microsoft Bot Framework or Google’s Dialog flow (formerly known as API.AI).
· Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
· Ability to work on multiple initiatives concurrently and self-manage day-to-day work.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Provide architectural direction, leadership and management to agile development team members.
