Job Title: Sourcing Analyst
Duration: 12+ months contract
Location: Clayton, NC 27527
Pay Range: $20-$24/hr
Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Summary/Description:
Support a Supply Management organization with the procurement of components used in the assembly of off-highway machines.
The candidate will process information mainly related to the commercial aspect of component procurement, such as sourcing activities and managing price changes on components.
Responsibilities include requesting quotations from suppliers for new and existing components and disseminating that information appropriately.
The candidate will function in multiple systems to perform research and input information related to these components, working with various groups within the larger organization and enterprise globally.
Position's Contribution to Work Group:
This position supports the supply chain management team in the development and sourcing activities of components for construction equipment machines, primarily related to nonmetallic parts.
The candidate will send out requests for quotes, analyze and propose best choices, resolve pricing discrepancies, and process price changes.
Typical Day:
The candidate will assess priorities based on outstanding action items, new work assigned through multiple systems, and input from direct supervisors.
They will access multiple systems to upload and modify data to reflect the most current information from suppliers.
Education Requirement:
Two to four years of relevant experience in supply chain management preferred.
Bachelor's degree in business, technical, or supply chain discipline preferred.
Critical Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS O365 suite, specifically Excel and Teams/SharePoint.
Ability to learn company-specific software and systems quickly.
Working knowledge of PowerBI is desirable.
Soft Skills Required:
Ability to process large amounts of information and data from multiple sources related to various projects.
Capability to learn and use different software/web-based tools quickly.
Ability to remember and execute many job instructions and tasks efficiently.
Strong interpersonal skills to work well with a diverse group of people and develop necessary relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
