Must-Have Skills
Strong Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a reputable university.
Electrical Engineering Experience and Technical Skills: 0-2 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power management, and strong knowledge of electrical circuit design, simulation, and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB). Proficiency in Python programming is also required.
Problem-Solving and Collaboration Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues, and strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering: A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of Battery Management (BMU): Familiarity with battery management systems for consumer electronics is a plus.
Test Automation and Equipment Knowledge: Experience with Test automation and equipment is desirable.
AR/VR Technology and Smart Glass Products Experience: Knowledge of AR/VR technology and smart glass products is a nice-to-have skill.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, including electrical system design, power management ICs (PMICs), battery management units (BMUs), and power characterization and optimization
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the development of cutting-edge consumer electronics technology.
Day-to-Day
Design and develop electrical systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Create and maintain technical documentation
Troubleshoot and debug electrical issues
Conduct simulations and modeling
Perform bench-level product characterization and validation
Analyze test results and provide feedback to the design team
Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, including PMICs, BMUs, and power characterization and optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into consumer electronics products
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test report, test instructions, and design specifications
Troubleshoot and debug electrical issues, providing root cause analysis and recommendations for improvement
Conduct simulations and modeling to optimize electrical system performance
Conduct bench level product characterization and validation
Analyze the test results and provide feedback to the design team
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
0-2 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power management
Strong knowledge of electrical circuit design, simulation, and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB)
Familiarity with communication protocols (I2C, UART etc)
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Python programming
