The Role

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge AI/ML algorithms to address critical challenges in computer vision security. This involves researching, designing, and implementing novel techniques to protect against attacks. Your responsibilities will include data curation, developing repeatable and scalable algorithms primarily in Python using frameworks like PyTorch, generating model explainability and performance visualizations, and contributing directly to the program's source code and data pipelines. You will play a key role in driving data preprocessing requirements and creatively delivering solutions in a rapidly evolving technical domain.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance.

Willingness to work from the D.C. office on a weekly basis (flexible days).

3+ years commercial / in industry experience taking data science models and applications and deploying them into real-world environments where they can be used for decision-making and automation.

3+ years of experience designing and implementing AI/ML techniques, specifically with imagery data (overhead or ground level).

Proficiency in Python.

Familiarity with machine and deep learning libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, PyTorch).

Experience with Git version control.

Familiarity with Linux OS.
