Senior Development Manager

The Senior Development Manager will generate new solar, wind, and energy storage opportunities by identifying and advancing projects. This includes site identification, land control, interconnection applications, resource measurement, permitting, and community engagement. Deliver high-quality, profitable projects that meet all milestones.

Main Functions:

Project Development: Lead development activities at all stages. Identify opportunities, assess risks, negotiate agreements, and obtain permits. Represent Elmya Energy with clients and stakeholders.

Project Management: Organize and meet deadlines, manage budgets, and oversee consultants. Provide status reports and regulatory updates.

Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain positive relationships with communities and clients, develop marketing strategies, and educate stakeholders on renewable energy development.

Professional Experience:

Experience: Minimum 5 years in renewable energy infrastructure, including two years in wind development. Exceptional project management, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of GIS and project siting software. Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with landowners and stakeholders.

Required Education:

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business/economics, environmental science, or relevant fields.

Technical Knowledge:

Software: Proficiency in ArcGIS or similar (Level 2), Microsoft Office Suite (Level 3).
