Objectives of the Role:

As a Senior Solution Architect at Red Oak, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of compliance technology for the financial services industry. This role is responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant SaaS solutions that drive measurable value for our clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and external stakeholders, guiding the architecture and integration of Red Oak’s platform within diverse enterprise environments. By combining deep industry knowledge, technical expertise, and a consultative approach, you will ensure that every solution not only meets regulatory standards but also enhances operational efficiency and client satisfaction. This is a high-impact role that requires strategic thinking, technical leadership, and a passion for solving real-world challenges in a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with clients to understand their business objectives, regulatory obligations, and technical environments, translating these into tailored SaaS solution designs.

Act as the primary technical advisor throughout the client lifecycle, from pre-sales through implementation, ensuring that proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with Red Oak’s platform capabilities.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Success—to ensure seamless solution delivery and alignment with product strategy.

Ensure all client solutions adhere to industry-specific compliance standards such as SEC, FINRA, and 17a-4, while also meeting internal security and data governance requirements.

Oversee the technical onboarding process, including data migration, system configuration, and integration with client systems via APIs or other secure methods.

Provide strategic guidance to clients on best practices for leveraging Red Oak’s platform to optimize compliance workflows and reduce operational risk.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services regulations, SaaS architecture trends, and emerging technologies to inform solution strategy and client advisement.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including solution blueprints, integration guides, and architecture diagrams, to support internal teams and client stakeholders.

Skills/Qualifications:

Experience: 7+ years in a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar role within a SaaS or financial services technology environment.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are a plus.

Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of SaaS architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), APIs, data security, and compliance frameworks.

Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with financial services workflows, regulatory requirements, and compliance technologies.

Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for diverse stakeholders.

Work Structure:

This position is primarily office-based, with an estimated 15% travel requirement for onsite client meetings.
